Deluge Fixed Fire Protection System

Deluge system is designed to protect high hazard areas containing a severe fuel hazard with a high heat release rate by bringing a large number of open sprayers into action simultaneously in the event of a fire. Deluge valve system comprises of a control valve, a sprinkler operated detection system and a dedicated water supply system. For small or confined high hazard risk areas, Multiple Controls can be used instead of sprinklers. Deluge system is similar to a pre-action system except the sprinkler heads are open and the pipe is not pressurized with air. Deluge systems are connected to a water supply through a deluge valve that is opened by the operation of a smoke or heat detection system. Deluge systems are used in the protection of large Aircraft Hangers as one primary means of fire protection.

Deluge fire sprinkler systems are used where special hazards create a concern for rapid fire spread. These systems provide a simultaneous application of water over the entire hazard to ensure fast and effective suppression of the fire. Water is not present in the piping until the deluge valve is tripped, reducing the risk of leakage or damage to unseen areas of the building. deluge fire sprinkler  system is to quickly wet down an entire hazard area to prevent a fire from spreading. They are usually used in facilities that contain hazardous materials such as: flammable liquids, chemicals, and explosives.Deluge pipe fire sprinkler systems feature open-type sprinkler heads attached to a dry pipe that is connected to a main water supply. Using an innovative detection system that recognizes smoke or heat, this fire suppression installation activates a valve that releases water to all sprinklers.

Standard Spray Sprinklers

A fire sprinkler operates the water stream discharging from the orif ce impacts a deflector, which produces a specific spray discharge pattern.discharge pattern of standard spray upright and pendent sprinklers is a half paraboloid (umbrel a shaped) pattern completely filled with water droplets. The intent of a standard spray sprinkler is to wet as much of the floor as possible. They are listed for their ability to control various fire hazards and have specific areas of coverage.

Standerd response Dry sprinklers are thermosensitive spray sprinklers suitable for use in area subject to freezing.the sprinklers are designed for dry systems and preaction system where it is necessary to prevent water or condensation from entering the drop nipple before sprinkler operation.Spray sprinklers are intended for use in the sprinkler systems designed in accordance with the standard installation rules recognized by the applicable listing or approval agency. They are available in pendent, upright, recessed, horizontal sidewall styles. The sprinkler heads used for residential and small commercial irrigation versus large turf rotors is their actuation.  On smaller sights sprinkler heads are laid out in a block formation and several heads are actuated at one time when either a manual or electric valve is opened.Standard spray sprinklers are designed to produce large discharge capacity in a hemispherical pattern standard in commercial applications.  Available in pendent, recessed pendent and upright configurations for most commercial applications.

Dry Pipe Sprinkler System

Dry pipe system is a sprinkler system employing automatic sprinklers installed on a piping system containing air. systems provide automatic protection in spaces where freezing is possible. dry pipe systems are the second most common sprinkler system type. In regions using NFPA regulations, dry pipe systems cannot be installed unless the range of ambient temperatures reaches above 40F.The dry pipe valve and related equipment must be in a heated location.sprinkler system. The sprinkler heads in a deluge system are open, meaning they don't have a trigger function and are activated simultaneously. They are most often used in unheated buildings, in parking garages, in outside canopies attached to heated buildings, or in refrigerated coolers.dry systems have a slower response time, they should be converted to wet-pipe systems as soon as sufficient heat becomes available.

Residential attics

Advantageous for protection of collections and other water sensitive areas. This perceived benefit is due to a fear that wet system piping may leak, while dry pipe systems will not. However, the same potential for accidental water damage exists, as dry pipe systems will only provide a slight delay prior to water discharge while the air in the piping is released from the pipe.

Safety Fire Alarm System in india

The Alarm System has varied applications and is used across many industries for security purpose. The Fire Alarm panel is the component, the hub of the system monitoring inputs and system integrity, control outputs and relays information.Primary Power supply Commonly the non-switched 120 Volt Alternating Current source supplied from a commercial power utility. In non-residential applications, a branch circuit is dedicated to the fire alarm system and its constituents. "Dedicated branch circuits" should not be confused with"Individual branch circuits" which supply energy to a single appliance.Secondary (backup) Power supplies component commonly sealed, lead-acid storage batteries or other emergency sources including generators, is used to supply energy in the event of a primary power failure.Initiating Devices component acts as input to the fire alarm control unit and are either manually or automatically activated.

Fire detectors must be coupled with alarms. Alarm systems provide notice to at least the building occupants and usually transmit a signal to a staffed monitoring station either on or off site. In some cases, alarms may go directly to the fire department, although in most locations this is no longer the typical approach.

Burglar alarm system kerala

Burglar alarm system consist of diverse sensors (detectors) and alarm control panel, with the function of intrusion detection and smoke detection, as well as summon aid in an emergency. The work of the home security system begins with the sensors and motion detectors. These devices are installed in different places that they monitor in their own ways. However, they send emergency signals to the control panel once they detect something that surpasses their tolerance level. The control panel of the system works like the brain and decide the next step of action. Basically, there are two different things that the control panel performs. It can set off an alarm located near the house to alert the     homeowner and the neighbors. The keyboard provided with the home security system enables the users to arm, disarm andprogram the security system according to their wish. Most of the time, users are given multiple keyboards so that they don't have to rush from one place to another to find the keyboard in emergency.
